Chandler Releases Single "Rambo"

Local UGA student and hip hop artist Chandler released his single “Rambo” at midnight on all streaming platforms.

If you caught the artist’s last performance in Athens, then you’ll probably recognize this track. Chandler’s stage presence and performance of “Rambo” packed quite a punch. Having only worked on this track for a week, he says the beat came to him instantly. Although this single won’t be going on the project he’s currently working on, we’ll be seeing more music soon.

“I wanted to release this track as a single to have a precursor to the project I'm working on. I plan on putting out a summer tape titled Tokyo at the start of July. I've been trying out some new sounds and vibes and plan to roll them out with the tape,” says Chandler.

Currently working on growing his following, Chandler hit the stages around Athens this past year as a UGA freshman. Working on his skills as a producer and artist over the last year as well, he’s ready to target a larger audience.

“Over the past few months, I've been focusing on expanding my sound and being diverse. A majority of the music I have out now was targeted towards high energy performances, but I want my listeners to pay attention to the meaning and melodies behind the music I release in the future. If I had to describe the brand I'm creating with one word, it'd be ‘diversity,’” says Chandler.

Listen to “Rambo” out now on Spotify, and be sure to follow Chandler on Instagram for updates.
